BART Widget

Bret Victor made a terrific trip-planning widget for BART, the public transportation system in the San Francisco bay area. But for reasons I can’t comprehend, BART has nastygrammed Victor, asking him to cease using their transit map in the widget. He wasn’t making money from their map — all he was doing was making it easier for people to use their transit system. Victor is now looking for help producing a new map from scratch.
