AppleInsider: Google Developing Google Earth for Mac OS X ★: Google Earth is a very cool app, but the user interface of the Mac port in these screenshots looks like ass. Does Google hire designers?

MakeBot ★: AIM bot from Make Magazine to notify you about new articles. Sort of gimmicky, but it’s cool because it’s truly “instant”, providing a much snappier user experience than anything delivered over HTTP.
