TextExpander vs. the ⌘⌥D Shortcut for Hiding the Dock

If you use TextExpander (or the old freeware Textpander), the ⌘⌥D shortcut for toggling Dock hiding doesn’t work. SmileOnMyMac blames a bug in Mac OS X.
