Worth reading the entire thread, including the section on China pressuring airlines to refer to Taiwan as “China Taiwan”.
I’m curious how this works technically — is it all Macs, or only the models with the T2 system on a chip (and thus a built-in iOS computer subsystem).
Update: Looks like it might just be a bug. And even if it’s not a bug, you can get around this “feature” by manually editing the plist file where the device region is specified.
