Me, writing for O’Reilly’s Mac DevCenter: “Scripting rectangular selections in BBEdit 7”.

As the title suggests, the article covers BBEdit 7’s new “rectangular” selections from the perspective of AppleScript. I put quotes around rectangular because, as the following screenshot indicates, you’re not limited to actual rectangles when you create rectangular selections via AppleScript:
